Eye Cream Prototype : ʻālohilohi
Mahalo for your continued Honua support! Many of you have been requesting (for years, in fact) a Honua or Honua-endorsed eye cream. Well, we have been working on this for ~3 years and have changed course many times, but are thrilled to reveal the next new Honua product. This is NOT a product launch - this is a prototype. We've spent years trying to develop the right product - we figured let's take a little bit more time and ask our 'ohana what they really think.
This eye cream will be priced much higher (~2x the special offer) when it launches in a few months, but early access is available to our insiders at $48. Why so low? Because we want your feedback and we will depend on that feedback to make this product even better, unless you all determine it is already amazing enough. Everyone that purchases will receive 3-4 emails with links to a very quick survey 2-4-6 weeks after your purchase. This prototype is not in current Honua packaging because, it is a prototype and we are still finalizing the packaging! However, this jar is a full size eye cream (15ml).
This eye cream, currently called 'ālohilohi, is a nourishing and decadent cream. It smooths fine lines and softens the delicate eye area. The texture is gentle, soft and non-greasy. Light enough for daytime use, we love it as a night treatment and some of us use it as a neck cream as well. It is a blend of hydrosols, aloe, and kukui/shea butter for deep hydration. Seaweed extract tightens and provides antioxidant protection. Infusions of eyebright, comfrey root, horsetail, kamani and carrot seed brighten with protective benefits for the ultra sensitive eye area. This cream addresses dryness, puffiness and discoloration.
The Story
Using the softest touch with your ring fingers, gently dab a pearl sized amount across the under eye area and extend to the outer eye creases. Avoid getting directly in eye as this is meant for your skin, not the eye itself!
